The photo on this page is beautiful. What great extraction work has been performed. I love the way that the mat was placed behind the photo and elements. The colors of the kit and photo compliment each other perfectly. The swirl down the side of the page with the flowers is gorgeous.

With the winter closing in upon us this fun summery page is just the thing to brighten things up a bit. I love the frames that have been used on the page and the way that they make the photos appear that they are curved. Really makes it fun. It looks like the children were having fun with their games. The touch of glitter on the pages adds so much as does the beautiful cluster of the leaves.

The colors in this kit really accentuate this awesome Black and White photo. What a great photo of these brothers. I love the way that the flowers were blended into the background paper. Using the Embossed paper behind the photo was also a nice touch. The sweet delicateness of the butterfly on the flowers is spellbinding. Awesome page.

Before we get started I would like to wish all of our American friends a Happy Thanksgiving!

Here is another beautiful page taken from Silvia's Gallery. I really like what has been done to the photo. It looks really awesome. There are so many beautiful flowers on this page. I really love roses especially yellow ones so they stand out. The background couldn't get much better.

I was looking in Silvia's Gotta Pixel Gallery for something peaceful and this layout was just the thing that I needed. I love the layering that has been done with the papers. The framing of the photo is so neat and I like the added touches of the glitter. The clustering is beautiful and I just love the feel of the page. It is exactly what I needed. I hope that it calms down your day as well.

Layout: March Remembering the Past

As many of you know, I host the Remembering Our Past challenge at Gotta Pixel. This month I am challenge everyone to work on their extraction technique. I just went into the gallery and found a fabulous layout! Ann did a fantastic job with her extraction. And the kit colors are perfect for bringing out the tint in her Grandma's cheeks. Silvia's kits are always a perfect choice for heritage layouts and I love how this is illustrated with this layout. Even though it is a 'spring' themed kit, it works beautifully for a heritage page!
