The kit I want to show you today is another that is a bit more elegant. While Saison de Joie does have reds and greens, they are not the traditional brights shades, and the kit also has other 'winter' shades of blue and white. There is also lots of glitter and bling! I think this kit is perfect for scrapping your New Years celebration!

This layout features a photo in front of the Christmas tree but it could just as easily be a photo of your and your loved ones clinking the new year in at midnight! I love all the glitter and the rays and ric rac emanating from the center of the page. It makes me feel very festive!

It is Christmas evening and the hustle and bustle is over. I got caught up in it and missed a few days here, but I finally have time to site and relax. I got a little Christmas cash, and Silvia is having a big sale, so I thought I'd show you some Christmas and Winter kits the next few days.

Tonight is the big game....the annual Braggin' Rights game between Illinois and Missouri! So to celebrate, I went looking for a kit with my colors, some blue and orange! I found a few, but I was particularly attracted to Fandago Fiesta. 

The kit has plenty of blue and orange and I love the texture in the papers! I also like those big blue and orange flowers. And this is a very versatile kit, as shown by this beautiful layout. I really like that textured blue border and the rounded corners. I also like the scattered beads and of course, those big orange and blue flowers!

Layout: First Snow

I hope you all are keeping warm! Wednesday I was running around in a light weight shirt and sandals. Today we have a dusing of snow and temperatures in the 20s...and on their way down into single digits! BRRRR...... Just south of us a few miles they got several inches of the white stuff!

I didn't get out to take pictures because I don't do cold. But I found a layout with some beautiful snow scenes. I like the frost embellishments that add a bit of color to the layout. Wanna see?
